Hi, I am Randy, we are here in a La-Z-boy comfort studio to talk about why La-Z-boy's are so great. This is the 5-12 Pinnacle recliner from La-Z-boy. I'l show you some of the great features and benefits of this chair starting, by just sitting in it. This is one of the Rocker recliners and one of the things that makes La-Z-boy's special is that you can lean your back and still rock. This is what they call the rocking the baby position. Takes the stress of the arms, you can still rock your baby. It also features several different locking positions for the mechanism. So, its gonna start down here and as you recline back its going to rach it all the way up till here. La-Z-boy also features a locking foot rest which you do have to release with the handle. This is a safety feature, in case a small child or a pet gets under there. It doesn't accidentaly fall back down, while they are under their.
Its also great for people who struggle with leg strength putting the footrest back down. We sell a lot of these recliners to senior citizens whose legs are just not what they once were. Its a lot easier for them to work that with the handle. Here we are going to stand up and actually going to recline this and take a look at what is underneath the footrest. I am going to lift this up, here is the law tag, you dont ever want to remove that because that is essentially your warranty right their and you will have a warranty through you local authorised dealer, where ever you bought that chair from. But one of the most important things about the La-Z-boy is this four sided frame construction. A lot of other recliners dont have anything here, underneath the footrest. This is all open, which will make your chair super wobbly. But on the la-z-boy its just really secure.
We are going to put that back down. Bring this back up, you can see that this chair doesn't wobble. One of the other things i want to show you here on this chair is how to adjust the tension on your back. If your back is reclining back to easily, then, there are little wing nuts in here that adjust the tension on the back. So can you see right down in hear. I am going to come up through here so you can still see and you can twist that in to make it tighter or looser based on your requirement. You can see the wing nuts on both sides. The la-z-boys use a wood rocker base, which glides effortlessly across the floor especially on a low pile carpet which is great to move it around. Some of the other manufacturers will have the metal base with a little rubber feet on them and they are next to impossible to move them around.And this particular model like many of the other La-Z-boy models does have a footrest here, so you get support all the way through your legs.
