A La-Z-boy recliner rocker chair is equipped with a three positioned locking leg rest for customized seating comfort. To operate the mechanism, simple pull on the handle rotating it counter clockwise to control the leg rest. You may stop in any of three ideal positions. To reduce the risk of injury, provide a clear path for operation of the back and legrest, place tables and area rugs at a distance to allow the legrest to be fully extended without rubbing or interference.
The first position is slightly inclined for relaxed reading, the second position is slightly more inclined for comfortable television viewing and the third position is fully extended for complete relaxation. To lower the legrest, rotate the handle counter clockwise to the fully extended position, then rotate clock wise to the fully closed position. To prevent product damage, do not force the legrest closed from the first or second position. The legrest must first be extended to the third position and then closed. The chair back can be reclined with the legrest closed or extended, to recline the chairback independent of the operation of the legrest, simply leen back to apply pressure to the seat back. Sit upright to return the back to an upright position. The chair body can be tilted back when the legrest is in use. Shifting your body rear ward will cause the chair body to tilt backward offering a number of different resting positions
To safely exit the unit and prevent a tripping hazard, bring the back upright and close the legrest before exiting the unit
