About the Company

We are an e-commerce player focused in the sleep space. Being an early player, we have seen quite a bit of traction and today we are India’s seller of premium mattresses online. We are on the verge of launching a private label of mattresses called Sunday. This will be along the lines of Casper, which has been hugely successful in the USA. The company is run by a small but passionate team, which has been with the company since inception.

Job Description

• Manage all finance and accounts related activities such as keeping complete records of accounts
• Prepare financial reports for P&L, Cash flow etc., on a regular basis and keep the senior management informed
• Participate and manage vendor negotiations
• Process monthly payroll, reimbursements and vendor payments
• Ensure that all monthly, quarterly and annual compliances are completed from a VAT, Income Tax and MCA point of view
• Coordinate with auditors and company secretary to get necessary work done

Required skills

• Previous experience in a similar role is a must
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of book keeping packages such as Tally, QuickBooks etc., is required
